Hoarding and filth cleanup addresses severe clutter and unsanitary conditions that have built up over time, often accompanied by biohazard concerns – mold, pest infestation, or contamination that goes beyond what typical junk removal or cleaning services are equipped to handle.
We work with Portland, OR families, property managers, and sometimes adult protective services on hoarding situations that have reached a point where health or safety is at risk. This is often an emotionally sensitive call, whether it's a family member trying to help a loved one or a landlord dealing with a unit that needs to be restored before it can be reoccupied.
We approach every hoarding job without judgment, working through the space methodically to sort, remove, and dispose of accumulated items and debris. Where biohazard conditions are present – animal waste, spoiled food, mold, or pest contamination – we treat those areas with the same protocols used in our other biohazard work, disinfecting surfaces once the clutter is cleared. We coordinate with family members or case managers throughout the process where that's helpful.
Cost depends on the volume of material, the extent of biohazard contamination present, and the size of the property.
If you're dealing with a hoarding situation in Portland, OR, call (945) 378-5179 – we handle every job with discretion and respect.
